NESPOS Internships In the course of an internship, the NESPOS society e.V gives students and junior scientific staff from the fields of Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology the possibility to gain insight into data acquisition and maintenance of the online database NESPOS (nespos.org). NESPOS is based in the Neanderthal Museum in Mettmann near Düsseldorf, Germany. We offer concrete tasks concerning research and data acquisition, data formatting and upload. You will be provided with important background knowledge about wiki-based databases and will work on your own projects. Ideally, you are a student of Archaeology, either classical or prehistoric, Palaeoanthropology or a related subject, are interested in scientific databases, possess sufficient computer knowledge and work carefully and accurately.
