Abstract:
This paper examines archaeological faunas in the Northwest of the Iberian, highlighting the lack of importance given to these studies until relatively recently. One of the main reasons for this is the inadequate lithological characteritics fot the conservation of this type of organic material; another is incorrect methods employed in the archaeological excavations.
