The cave was used during the Middle Paleolithic by hunthers and gatherers. Tools out of fragments of quartz, the scraper is the most representative morphotype.

Chronological Abstract: 

198 pieces of lithic industry were found belonging to the Middle Paleolithic, more than 50% made of quartz, the rest is out of flint and limestone. The youngest levels belong to the Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze and Roman period.

The site is located approximately 460 meters above sea level, below the path leading Sadernes AlbanyĆ  through Gaza neck of Catalan, hanging on a limestone cliff on the stream of Laurels, despite the range of guitars.
